Tram and Colleagues Detail Deadly Consequences of PEPFAR Funding Pause

The recent federal Executive Order pausing U.S. foreign assistance will have myriad short and long consequences across the world. In a recent commentary shared in the Journal of the International AIDS Society (JIAS), CSDE Affiliate Khai Hoan Tram (UW Medical Center) and colleagues detail the consequences of the “stop order” directive sent to the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
